The rally is developers and 'end users', Open standard consumers. The route is ours (SUNW and the broader community).

I'm betting within a short time, the Sun JVM comes standard on RedHat *and Debian and those two Sparc Linux distros are available standard on the developer workstations next to Solaris OE 8. Anybody know where *nix AOL 5 is?

You know I watch this Sun<->Linux dynamic closely and have for two years. Theres a whole other brand of Linux boosting going on suddenly. Things may seem a little disjointed on the consumer marketing side, but it's being made up for greatly on the geek mindshare side. At this stage of the game, that's the scoreboard.
