Funny - all of a sudden the XCIT merger looks like a pioneering move. Isn't AOL's Time warp a defensive, copycat transaction to get access to cable, Case's presumable public painting attempts notwithstanding? What about all the ELNKs of the world? Suddenly cable is hot, hot, hot. And ATHM is half full instead of half empty. What a difference a day makes.
