Intuit supplies the .qif format to the public in order to import financial data into their Quicken software platform. The actual processing of the data once imported in left up to Quicken itself. You can open the .qif file in Microsoft Notepad to view the format. You will notice only the detail of each trade is supplied (imported). Specific questions beyond downloading the .qif file from the Client Connection and importing it into Quicken need to be directed to Intuit.
