blankmind:Re the AOL merger: Doesn't this fly in the face of the DOJ suit. If AOL and its subsidiary NSCP have been so harmed by MSFT what are they doing taking over Time in one of the biggest mergers ever? I am trying to figure out who is left to claim they have been injured. This seems to pull the abuse issue rug right out from under the plaintiffs. Who has suffered SUNW (price has more than doubled)AOL,NSCP? Certainly the case regarding consumer harm rests solely on the Jackson's arbitrary view of OS pricing. Developments like these seem to show the 1. the futility of trying to overregulate this industry. 2. There never was a case. 3. Courts are to slow and cumbersome to even begin to address technology issues. JFD
