Hi Leigh,

This morning the "Tech" section of the A. Amer. Statesman had the following "blurb." Sorry, but I didn't find a "link" at the A.A.S.
site so I did my best in transcribing it.
===================================================================
HALF OF CIOS CHOOSE DELL: Dell Computer Corp got some good news at the start of the new year, when Morgan Stanley Dean Witter reported results of its survey of chief information offices at U.S. companies.

Asked which PC maker will get the most new business from their employers this year, nearly half (48 percent) of the 75 CIOs named Dell...MORE THAN ALL OTHERS COMBINED.

The next four: H.P. had 16%, CPQ had 13%, IBM had 9% and GTW with 4%.

O.T. Thanks for the "congrats." on the Vikes, next week will be even tougher. As for the 49ers...they've got some serious work cut out for them. Very high payroll and some key players getting up there in age. They've certainly given you YEARS of great entertainment and a few superbowls. Always been a fun team to watch.

Tom
