Jeff, Jim, JD, Janice, & Thread: <... do you still think it worthwhile to discuss scenarios that don't involve a car?>

We've all spent much time -- especially yesterday :) -- and I honestly think it is well worthwhile. Many "solid" thoughts have evolved {sprinkled with enough absurdities, intentional or otherwise :) , to keep it inspired}.

There is still much to do; but, with everything considered, culminating with actual the interview of Dr. Lee that Jeff posted early this morning, I do NOT still think it is worthwhile to continue discussing scenarios that do not involve Suzanne being transported in a vehicle during part of the time between 9:20 PM and 9:53 PM.

Without having the autopsy report, I do think Suzanne was slashed and stabbed, or stabbed and slashed, somewhere other than at the crime scene, and was either left at the crime scene, or left somewhere close to the crime scene, and managed to get to the crime scene before she collapsed and expired.

In terms of Jim Van de Veld, IMO:

1. It is a given that Suzanne was not murdered in his Jeep.

2. It is possible that he transported SJ in his vehicle; but,
....he did not transport her after she was attacked.

3. It is highly improbable that he used a different vehicle
....on the night of Dec. 4th, and should not be pursued.

4. It is possible that he saw Suzanne on the night of Dec. 4th,
....and Jeff would be more helpful by keeping open on that...

5. It still does not add-up to me that Jim maintains he
....went to the game for 15 minutes, where there were hundreds
....of Yale faculty, admin, students and alum; yet, he did not
....see even ONE person he knew. (Even without a ticket.}

....{ Jeff: You have misunderstood what I wrote about Jim being
.... able to say who he saw that he knew; but not who saw him.
.... There wasn't any reason for you to defend him about that
.... point. Jim, nor anyone in a crowd, is competent to say
.... who saw him, that would not be within his knowledge.}

6. It is possible that he drove Suzanne from where he *says*
....he was parked near his office to his apt.; but, then what?
....Did they argue in the Jeep and she "took-off" on foot?
....Did they argue in the Jeep and continue arguing a block
....south of the crime scene, where the argument and scream
....were heard, he s & s'd her outside the vehicle, she
....somehow made it to the crime scene on foot; he went home?
....If that occurred, there would be a blood at the
....argument scene, and likely some blood trail to the crime
....scene. Apparently, there wasn't evidence of either one.
....It is possible that Jim wasn't at his office, did
....obtain a willing-to-ride Suzanne; but then what ?

7. Janice: If it hasn't been clarified for you, no one ever
... searched Jim's apartment.

If all of you are in general agreement with me, let's move forward to "probable" scenarios of how the:

..... A. walk - attack - drive - demise - crime scene;
..... B. walk - drive - attack - demise - crime scene;
..... C. walk - attack - drive - crime scene - demise;
..... D. walk - drive - attack - crime scene - demise;
..... E. walk - attack - drive - walk - crime scene - demise;
..... F. walk - drive - attack - walk - crime scene - demise;
........ or,
..... G. any other sequence ??

occurred.
.

Regards,
Carol
