The lone 600MHz Athlon choice will get some company soon - higher MHz Athlons.

It would have been hard for AMD to only supply 600MHz Athlons to Gateway because practically all Athlons now being made are the .18 variety.
The Gateway Athlon 600 system costs as much as the PIII 500 system. Only the most devoted wouldn't choose the AThlon system.
Speaking of choice, that seems to be Gateway's theme in their version of the news.
