My only thoughts are that Dr. Schmidt was not brought on approx. 1 month ago to turn around things this Q - the market is punishing us, obviously, and this should be should be a message to Mr. M and Mr. Y as to their stewardship (!) of this once great company. The company could EASILY announce a buyback of up to 50 million shares of stock (at current prices less than 400 mil. of the 1 bil. plus cash hoard!) I'm not faulting Dr. S in the short term, but something must be done in the very least as a stop gap measure, and a stock buyback would show the investment community that those in charge at this company feel, simply put, that this is the best available means to use these $$$. Wake up, BOD!
