If you were shooting darts or had no idea what the basics for CREE are and what its potential is that is one set of circumstances. There waiting and learning might be sensible.

Don't see waiting as sensible today. That's why I just added.

Agree that waiting for the SPO is foolish (not Foolish). The analogy is the people who waited in December for the Q's split before buying. Not smart.

Also having been involved in several companies (even Cisco) "early", I am convinced that if you know what you are doing, the risk from buying "early" is much less than the opportunity cost lost from buying later. The point is to know what you are doing going in. Then do it -asap.
