I think Gilder was caught unawares at just how popular his Forum would become. It's regarded by staff as a freebie, a perk and not really worthy of focus. Yet, as it turns out, it is the most valuable and lively asset that Gilder presents. Oh, OK, the chance to scalp a tout rates up there too. Anyway, I will be in the Bay Area next weekend for the NCGG, NoCal Gilder Gabfest. There will be about 30 people attending the affair and it should be a hoot. I've even got our inimitable P. Mudge to attend. It's an extraordinary collection of high IQs and high energies. I can't wait. BTW, there is a Gilder Group meeting on Manhattan at the Cedars of Lebanon on Tuesday evening (11th) starting at 6-7PM, on 38th, between 5th and 6th. You might enjoy joining with the group.
