I heard the same thing on CNBC...the only real big seller was the head of Bell Labs and his sale of 200,000+ shares was back in November which I wouldn't consider suspicious. He may have had a darn good reason. I myself sold on November 24, the day before Thanksgiving.

Now I'm sitting here wondering whether I should jump back in. With almost 50,000,000 shares traded to this point today, it shows that they are matching up sellers with buyers pretty good. The stock jumped up immediately this morning and has stayed around 57 most of the day so far.

Can't predict what the last 15 minutes before closing and the after hours activity will lay on us. My crystal ball is so darn cloudy...almost like one of those Xmas balls with the Snowman inside...I hope the end of the day brings only flurries.

Maybe the AOL / Time-Warner merger will be the focus of attention for awhile and LUCENT can start the climb back.
