The system that Hitachi and Qualcomm will try to commercialize has a maximum throughput of 2.4 megabits per second, or about the same as sophisticated cell phones. This is great. I wonder who makes the technology for these "spophisticated cell phones?" Could it be......QUALCOMM? You gotta love it. QCOM's only competitor is itself. BTW, which major global telecom firms could we be talking about here? Could it be.....Vodaphone/Airtouch/Mannesman? Man would that be cool.
