IF (BEAR) was priced near it's 52 week low, @$1.50 to $1.75 it would really look good. To meet my criteria, a stock must be at or near it's 52 week low price. Doesn't have to be on that 52 week low but near it or recently near it and has set what appears to be a NEW Solid Base.
There are particular situations, like FONR, which in my opinion would exclude the "near 52 week low price criteria." However, when looking at a "NEW Stock" for me, this is one of the first things I look at and it is quick to do. Doing so, will quickly elimate a lot of stocks for me. That doesn't mean those stocks will not increase in stock price, it just means I am not likely to get down and/or hung in a stock, thereby tying my money up. So, for my particular strategy unless I have watched a stock trade for a while, that near 52 week low is a major part.
