You are right.

But do you recall Gateway stating that they, Gateway, will be DROPPING Intel as a supplier ?

No.

Gateway is on record stating that they WOULD DROP AMD as a supplier. Does your memory go back that far - about 3 months?

Of course, Gateway has once again flip-flopped on AMD.

Maybe AMD should bone up on customer service as well.
