That's all fine and dandy Jeff, but the fact remains that Jim trotted down to the police station BEFORE the police had any real interest in interviewing him.

Remember, Jim had NOTHING to offer them that would help with their investigation. All Jim could say was she was one of his students and the last time he saw her. Big deal, that and a $1.25 will buy you a cup of coffee.
