From Stockhouse thread

TRE.A a "Buy" as of January 2000. This is a very well respected independent publication which has been around since 1941. Annual fee to receive this publication is $279.00 and it is published every 2 weeks. I have seen a buy recommendation in this newletter move stocks many times before.

Interesting excerpts:

"The pulp and paper market is expected to be stonger in the coming quarters. This should strengthen wood chip prices in the year 2000.
Currently, the Japanese market is in the phase of recovery, but after a few months, demand in that market for forest products could improve.

They have also crunched the ratio's as follows:

Book Value per share: $1.78
Debt to Equity: 0.04:1
Working Capital Ratio: 1.4:1
Return on Equity: 25.1%
Operating Margin: 26%
Price to Cash Flow: 5.5x
Debt to Cash Flow: 0.2

Another buy recommendation surfaces. Looks like the market is starting to pick up and notice this company.

P.S. I have to agree that I doubt that this company is a takeover candidate by virtue of the fact that the insiders have control of the company through the multiple voting shares that they own.

Hang in there for the long haul. This one is a keeper.

Regards to all.
