We have always had a policy of not allowing our message threads to be used to advertise other sites.
Regards,SI Admin (Bob)

Your statement is ludicrous Bob. Silicon Investor has ALWAYS allowed the posting of links to other message boards and sites of financial interest to it's members since it's inception. It continues to allow this. It is one of the reasons people paid to become members here. So they could not only view information shared by others but also be able to share information with others. Since I can see no other reason than a personal one perhaps that www.thewallstreetinvestor.com is an exception to this policy I am very much intrigued as to why it alone has been singled out. Is it just so much better than all the other sites that it is a real threat to the existence of SI ? I admit it is one of the best message boards I have ever read or participated on but that is irrelevant. The fact remains that you are not being honest with the members of SI when you make a post as you did today the one above. You are the representative of GNET/SI to the members of this site and as such I would like to know why you have taken it upon yourself to tell me and the other members here an untruth. Why have you taken it upon yourself to dictate what information or site links I or anyone else can post in a public forum. Every link posted on this site is an invitation by the poster for the reader to leave this site and view pertinent information which they have found on another site. Nobody likes spam, hype, but this was not the case here and if you OR ANY OTHER member of SI does a links search they will see that www.thewallstreetinvestor.com has not been spammed here only posted in the spirit that every other link has been posted and very few times at that. I read and post on several sites as an individual investor. As a representative of GNET/SI I would like you to publicly elaborate as to why The Wall Street Investor is considered different than any of the other sites I have posted links to on SI or followed from SI ? I go to the site often and I see links posted to SI and many other boards and I see the same on other message board sites. This is what these sites are for. To try and dictate what content members can and cannot post or receive here is a personal insult to myself and every other member who paid to participate here as well as the lurkers. If you and GNET/SI are worried about losing members provide killer content that will make them stay. DO NOT try and play big brother ! Neither God or the Law give you this right. JMHO, Mark C An individual investor with no interest in ANY site other than that of an individual investor. Looking forward to an official explanation for your actions Bob SI. Administrator. Thank you! Below are links to hundreds of posts in just the last 120 days that dispute your claim in the earlier post about SI policy
