...the blue skies scenario

After looking over my NDX market breadth data, volatility and strength are now at all-time high levels. There is something unique about this situation; the last time volatility was this high was back in late August 1998. However, in that case the NDX market breadth was very weak. I am perplexed for the moment.

SPX market breadth weakened significantly today, despite the rise in price.
