I whole-heartedly agree with MSFT having to cough up bucks over their heavy-handed approach to DR-DOS. IMHO, if DR-DOS ever went head-to-head with MS-DOS on an even playing field, it would have sold very well. But Windows would eventually have squashed it, so I suppose that a measly $150M settlement is close to fair.

The bigger question is why Novell and even earlier owners of DR-DOS haven't received their due for similar treatment. But that's a long story .. and (IMHO) a quite different matter than "Netscape vs Explorer".
