Bryan, Were you aware that WFII signed a three year contract with ARTT on January 5?

Wireless Facilities Awarded Contract by Advanced Radio Telecom for Network
Deployment Services

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2000--Wireless Facilities Inc. (WFI)
(Nasdaq:WFII) announced today that it has
signed a three-year contract to provide Advanced Radio Telecom Corp. (ART)
(Nasdaq:ARTT), the first broadband wireless
Internet Protocol service provider (IPSP), with comprehensive network
deployment services in support of its build out of high-speed, metropolitan
area Internet Protocol (IP) networks nationwide.

WFI was selected as ART's preferred vendor to support its planned 40-market
network build out with full-service network development and deployment
services. These services include overall program management, radio frequency
(RF) engineering, fixed network engineering, installation and construction
management.

"ART has tremendous confidence in selecting WFI as our preferred provider of
outsourcing services related to nationwide deployment of broadband wireless
metropolitan networks," said Robert McCambridge, president and COO of ART.
"Our commitment to WFI expands the strategic relationships already
established with Qwest, Cisco and others, and will allow ART to accelerate
our build out plans."

The demand for wireless Internet access and other data services is
accelerating with the deployment of new technologies such as those embodied
in emerging third-generation (3G) standards. High speed fiber networks are
being integrated with wireless broadband technologies to deliver enhanced
capabilities and features to new customers and markets. ART is the first
company to integrate fiber-optic and 100 Mbps wireless broadband technologies
into a reliable, carrier-class quality, packet-switched data communications
network.

"WFI is playing a key role in fulfilling the growing demand for high speed
Internet access as the leading provider of wireless broadband network
deployment services," said Masood Tayebi, president of WFI. "WFI's
demonstrated capability and extensive knowledge of the wireless broadband
market will be instrumental in supporting ART's overall long term deployment
and operational plans."
