There's only one jingle on the site: "I Believe in Dreams", but I didn't write the lyric--it was provided by the agency.I'll soon have a separate page for jingles.
Working style:On the "Dreams" project, for example, the agency calls, and says "here's the lyric, write us something like Enya might write . . " so I sit down with my very talented keyboard (and guitar & bass) playing partner, talk about style and tonality, he'll sketch out a harmonic skeleton, I'll develop a melody, and then we collaborate on the musical flesh for the arrangement. I then contract the players (and singers in this case)handle studio logistics, client hand-holding, etc. My partner, Herb, is the "real" musician, and wields the baton when necessary. I'm the idea guy/lyricist/singer/client liason. |
