Coincidence? Metricom's Pres. & CEO sent out a letter to shareholders on one of Metricom's web pages today. He announced a new MCOM logo, the name Ricochet and drawings of two footprints, one shod and one barefoot. Earlier today I saw some messages about the new logo on Yahoo's MCOM board with enigmatic references to Crusoe. Could those writers be on to something? I thought it was just conjecture and wishful thinking until I saw the Ricochet logo and realized that Transmeta's Crusoe page shows barefoot footprints in the sand. I am unable to send the link, but go to Metricom's home page and click on Letters from the CEO. That should get you there to see the new logo and the CEO's cryptic reference connecting the logo to the mission of Metricom.
