I believe this merger is actually a wake up call. Once, digested, it will probably bring the valuations down on the entire Internet sector which I am still quite fond of. I made 1700% on AMZN. 700% on YHOO. And 900% on AOL. Sold AMZN and YHOO on Monday of last week at the open and most of my AOL yesterday. The rest of my AOL is gone tomorrow. For long termers who aren't anxious to maximize the gains in their portfolio I'm sure the AOL Time Warner deal will pan out and be fine. As for me, I want the most bang for my buck. Going where the growth is.
