SyCoNet.com Appoints Executive Vice President of Business Strategy and Development
MANASSAS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2000--SyCoNet.com, Inc. (OTC BB: SYCD - news), the leading U.S. distributor of Anime (Japanese animated) videos and DVDs, today announced the appointment of Philip Jacobson as Executive Vice President of Business Strategy and Development. Jacobson will lead the company's efforts to develop major alliances, strategic partnerships and acquisitions as SyCoNet.Com expands its focus into new markets and product lines.
Prior to joining SyCoNet, Jacobson was President of Network Conceptions LLC, a consulting practice he founded that focuses on business planning and partner marketing for emerging telecommunications companies. Prior to founding Network Conceptions he held the position of Director of Business Development for Apex Global Internet Services (AGIS), a Tier 1 data services company.
Before joining AGIS, he spent 14 years with MCI Communications where he managed a wide range of partner marketing and product development initiatives, particularly consumer oriented multimedia projects.
Mr. Jacobson holds a BA in Accounting from University of Massachusetts and is registered as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
