In my Mercedes, it will call the SOS center and give my postion via GPS if the airbags go off, if the alarms goes off for an extended period, or if the SOS button is pressed for any reason. SOS button: Remember early on when all those cell phones were sold to women who found themselves driving alone? I would place the 'SOS Button' far above a cell phone in a security application. Simple sell job - "In case you are carjacked, press this button and the police know you are in trouble. They will be able to track your car real time." On a numbers basis of actual carjackings, it is of little utility, but the power of the message is quite large and will sell a bunch of units. Jeff Vayda
