Danny this is a developmental company and a long term fundamental play not a quick technical one. It is a medical device approved by the FDA. It is currently venture capital funded, has 6 mill float. Product sells for 400k to 500k. +Service ?? and add ons.
Two machines sold to date. Revenues not recorded.. Noise about 2 or three more by July, hopefully many more by years end when medicare/medicaid issue is finally put to bed and hospitals begin placing orders.. 12 months FDA clinical performance and operational study ahead to set guidelines for safe long term deployment.
Machine protected by two patents.. hardware(coil design) and software(fat suppression).. Add ons in development are an MRI targeting system to pinpoint cyst locations. An MRI guided biopsy tool to diagnose and extract cysts. Current xray technology lots of older folks are so high on results in litigation and radiation inducing CANCER causing xrays and huge HMO/insurance money loses from 75% false positives xray diagnosis causing unnecesary Biopsy procedure often times resulting in women undergoing radical mastectomies because fear and pain from repeated false positives biopsy procedures which scar breast tissue. x-ray can not image breasts once they are scarred..(MRI is safe and can image scarred tissue) my tgt for Jan 98 is 4 dollars/share.
