Yes, for us now, but when satan comes as Messiah it will not be so easy....especially for those christians who are expecting to be raptured...satan will appear to be Jesus saying he has come to take his people "home"...or words similar.Probably even say he has come to "rapture" them...God help our people.!
He will show signs and wonders miracles that christians would only attribute to God Himself....and even the very elect could be deceived
Mark 13:21-23
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

he will probably even offer his wrists and feet to show "nail prints" and the whole world will whore after him...not just the Unbelieving world...but the whole world..Rev.12:9

Easy?...for now because you are not faced with it...it will get mighty difficult when he appears as Jesus and your entire fm, and all of your friends are goading you and mocking you( not to mention the whole world).... because you will not believe that this one who has come saying he is Jesus .....is truly Jesus...Remember the words of our Lord

You are absolutely correct when you say that Jesus will come in the spirit....and not the flesh...and that is the fool proof way of knowing the difference....if when we hear that Jesus has returned ...if we can pinch ourselves and it hurts....we know for a fact it is NOT Jesus....
But there will be many who will not be able to stand the test of time...between the appearance of satan...and the return of our Lord... Signs, wonder and miracles will win thier trust.....Jesus warns us of this continually.....Remember, satan comes disguised as a angel of "light"...
