RS: re:but hard to see how Hughes owner GM would be interested in working w/ G even indirectly.* There has been a lot of pressure lately for GM to spilt off Hughes. They have been reluctant to date. A big announcement with G* would provide some good cover/support for the spilt. How much would this news be worth to G*? The current mindset for wanna-be and me-toos would require all the other automobile manufacturers to jump on board and guess who has the only system up and worth anything. Hmmmm, the thought gives me a warm tummy. :-) Jeff Vayda
