This is getting VERY old you 2! Here's some news: Apache Reports New Fault Discovery in Gulf on Production at 19.3 MMCF of Gas And 1,500 Barrels of Oil Per Day
HOUSTON, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Apache Corporation (NYSE: APA) today announced that its A-22 ST new fault discovery well in Main Pass 77, offshore in the Outer Continental Shelf in the Gulf of Mexico, is producing 19.3 million cubic feet of gas per day and 1,500 barrels of oil per day on a 7/16 inch choke with 5,900 pounds per square inch of flowing tubing pressure.
"This well is a reflection of Apache's continued focus on exploiting producing properties on the shelf with 3-D seismic and integrated field studies," says Jon Jeppesen, vice president of Apache's Offshore region.
Apache holds a 26.2 percent working interest in the well. Chevron, the operator, has a 48.4 percent working interest. Other participants in the well are Contour Energy Co., with 18.06 percent; Sabco Oil and Gas, with 6.5 percent; and Key Production Company, with 0.84 percent.
Apache is a large oil and gas independent with operations in North America, Western Australia, Egypt, Poland and the People's Republic of China. Its common shares are traded on the New York and Chicago stock exchanges.
