I feel the same way. I can't think of any clearer proof that we are being followed around by people who wish us ill. But we are immune to it, at least. It's like looking out the window at the rain or the snow. You know it's out there, but it can't get in.

I found that clicking the thread header, and using the "next 40 messages" feature works amazingly well in this situation. All the "ignored messages" just slide by in a split-second.

After seeing the condition of the thread, I accessed SI via SIClassic just to see how many messages there were to me that don't show up in BetaSI, it was half a dozen last time I checked. I will need to get someone else to clear them out, but I am not going to do it.
