No, not really. The power is still the KEY thing. Having the lowest power means that you can add things and still keep the same size, such as real time video and compression. the "just barely made it" implemented DSP solution would not be able to add anything. Or you can add your VERY low power technology to an already power hungry internet appliance and not draw down the batteries.

Power draw and core size are everything.
