o There are big price drops (22% - 40%) in all speed grades of Athlon
except the 500MHz one. The lowest prices shown, were listed by only
one dealer with ETA of 1/24/00. The dealer also maintains separate
prices for immediate delivery of Athlons which come close to the
second lowest prices shown in the table on the line, next to the
current prices - enclosed in parenthesis.

o If the lowest prices shown in the table are any indication of up coming
price cuts by AMD, this shows AMD is in the driver seat for the
first time dictating the MHz prices in the market.

o Even though the price cuts look too steep, these cuts may actually
improve Athlons ASP, if 500MHz is dropped.
