Marvin, Jay states very well my main reason for selling AOL
"You sell when you cease to believe in a company. The classic mistake is thinking you can time the market.
If you believe in fundamentals you dont sell."
I no longer believe in the fundamentals of AOL. I also don't like uncertainty in my investments and this deal won't even close until later this year and it will probably be another year before we realize if the merger is working. No thank you on that action.
As I posted throughout the day yesterday was when I baled on all my LEAPS, IRA and most of my cash position. Today was just selling the rest of my cash position.
If it goes to the low 50s I'll be back as a value play probably with LEAPS. My money is going elsewhere in the meantime. Most likely more MSFT CSCO and QCOM.
I thank AOL for all the money I made but for now I'm out of here. Good luck.
