A woman I know at the place I consult just sat with me for 20 minutes talking about this. She was an investment banker. She said analysts are saying we need 3 rate hikes in the next quarter alone, and that the Fed's first (next) hike might be .50. That they were waiting until Y2K and now are going to crack down. She certainly knows enough people in the business. A .50 rate hike could careen us in the wrong direction.

I don't know, am going to post this on several threads. Numbers come out Friday. I'm considering taking some profits on my JDSU calls and keeping the cash for a major correction.

Any thoughts anyone? t2?
