Good one.

Air as a transport medium is unstable. Everything from storms to solar flares to physical obstructions effect transmission.

Air as a transport medium is limited. Frequency is a finite resource. You will run out of frequency. When you run out of bandwidth on fiber, you just lay more fiber. It is infinite.

Warning! anecdote:

I rencently tried to buy a web phone. I was told by my friend who is in the business: Okay, but the web will probably only work in this city. You can't get email in Toronto or Vancouver, but probably in Montreal. It won't work at all in the US. The digital phone experiences echo and cut out problems in most areas. Its $499.00.

I know this is fairly superficial but, I'm a little pressed for time, I hope to add more later.

You are investing in the future and I appreciate that. The poeple/companies who support wireless are all developing technologies that they think will work. Some of them will, they just won't replace the wave guide.

Regards
Jay
