OT-

Glenn, I understand that diamond is an excellent thermal conductor, and that it feels quite cold
to the skin. Can you hold a diamond up to your face when nobody's looking, and let me know
what you find out? I don't own any diamonds...

Randy,

A diamond is an excellent thermal conductor. In fact, one of the best tests to determine if a stone is a diamond for those that are not gemologists is thermal conductivty. We keep in each store a specially designed tool that test just that and flashes green when it is a diamond and give a sad beep when it is not.

A diamond feels very cold to the skin.

We can solve your last problem LOL
