Paul, looks like everyone knows Java is good, and they're jealous as hell that SUNW controls it. It seems to me that SUNW has been pretty even handed in its arrangements with other vendors, but what they want is control. Kind of like Steve Case complaining about wanting access to cable when AT&T had it, but now that he bought it, the tune changes.

Maybe I'm naive, but SUNW does seem to deal fairly with how developers can utilize java and I'd much rather have them in charge then fragmentation of the standard or having another "fair player" like Microsoft or IBM take charge. We've seen they're brand of fairness.
