Thread, re: RadioWallStreet.com interview with Osha

My brief notes from memory:

He is published that AMD will loose 11 cents/share. Further discussion he says they may break even, but he wouldn't change his published number this close to earnings release.

He thinks Intel will make their 1Q number, but thinks pricing pressure in following quarters may impact earnings. He rates Intel "accumulate" for this reason. Rates Intel "buy" on the long term. Said some fairly positive things about Intel's networking & communication businesses, but nothing specific.

He says that the one thing he is "handicapping" is how many Coppermines Intel will ship (sounded like upside if numbers exceed estimates).

Said the semi cycles downturn may be marked by a period of overspending (that's a synptom he looks for), but doesn't see it happening in 2000. Earlier he said that the semi cycle is in the 4th or 5th inning of a 9 inning game.

That's what I can remember.

Greg.
