Another press release on Reuters today: I could not cut and paste off of PointCast, so I will paraphrase. Vitamin E Slows AIDS Progression April 23, 1997 "New York - Vitamin E may be able to slow the progression of HIV-infection to AIDS, a new study suggests. Those men with the highest blood levels of the vitamin had a 34% reduction in the risk of having disease progression compared to men with the lowest blood levels of vitamin E, according to a report in the journal AIDS." It goes on to say.. "Vitamin E may delay the onset of AIDS in HIV-1-infected individuals reported lead study author, Dr Alice Tang, of the epidemiology department at Johns Hopkins University Schoo of Medicine in Baltimore." "More research is needed to confirm that the vitamin can truly slow the progression of AIDS, the researchers concluded. ADVR MUST MOVE QUICKLY!!!
