A good riposte, and the significance of simply picking a good team is not lost on me, but that is why I used the example of the baseball manager, since the first job of such a person is assembling a team. In the case of the portfolio manager, he relies on advice and scuttlebutt, but has to have the judgement to separate the wheat from the chaff, and must make the final decision. Note that I would vote for Keyes over Gore, however........
