Kash and thread,

Do not get what's going on....SEG came in with earnings this afternoon. Revenues were down 8% YOY for Q4. Estimates are that Intel's revs will be up only 5% YOY; that's pitiful compared to the rest of 1999 which saw 8-9% growth YOY. Yet Intel is claiming maxed out fabs.

Q4 was supposed to be a strong pc quarter but where did they get the hard drives from...certainly not SEG and how can a 5% increase in revs fill capacity at Intel's fabs. GTW warns and it looks like Dell will as well. Where was all the supposed demand for pcs?

Things do not seem to add up....anyone else feel the same way?
