But when has MSU ever done anything that is faintly commercially commendable. Hope springs eternal!!! It's just such a shame that Evans has been left with so many loose ends by previous management. Wyn got off too easy, IMO... It would have better had he tendered his resignation last November, rather than a mere demotion. But despite all of these issues, I still believe the company will succeed. The market for set-top boxes is just heating up. Look at AOL/Time Warner as an example. One just can't let these inconvenient distractions detract from the fundamental trend..... namely the merger of internet and current television technology, until we fully make the transition to HDTV standards. NOTE TO MSU/WEB2U MANAGEMENT: I would HIGHLY SUGGEST that you contact the following company and make arrangements to support their technology. diamondbacksystems.com diamondbacksystems.com I just heard an extended interview with their CEO this afternoon and was STRONGLY IMPRESSED with both their compression technology and corporate vision. The CEO left DARPA to start this venture and they just closed a $5 million round of VC funding (twice what they were requesting) and are fast-tracking their first products for next year. It they have 1/2 of what they claim they have (from 4:1 to 10:1 video compression), it will pay off to be one of the first companies to be prepared to support it. Enough of these freebies MSU...
