I don't think it is just about strong numbers. It is about what usually happens? What is going on with the market now? What happened with AOL? This gap down doesn't help perception.

Market perception, expectations at any given time. You know how sometimes a stock announces a split like ARBA did and it went down 80 points? And just before that any split announcement cranked the stock up? Well, the market is like that---one has to figure out whether we are playing chess or parchessi from market yesterday. Market is fluid and alive and everchanging.

Sometimes it is "what have you done for me lately?" with even the best of news right? And sometimes it is whoopee cushion moves for the most pittling of news right? That is our job to figure the paper/scissors/rock news of the moment.

It's a hard job but someone has to do it....:)
