The X-Stream Network set a deal Tuesday with Net recruitment specialist Wideyes in a pact that will enable Europe's major employers to reach out to users of the free British Internet service provider. X-Stream said its users will get free, detailed access to some of Europe's major employers on the X-Stream Web site., which is available in eight languages. Job-seekers will have control over who has to access their resume details, and they can set up autosearches to scan the job market in 22 countries. X-Stream was launched in March 1998 as the U.K.'s first subscription-free ISP. It now has in excess of 550,000 registered subscribers.

Separately, The X-Stream also unveiled a partnership with Fish4, the family of consumer Web sites. It's a distribution deal that will run for one year. The Fish4 Web sites have been positioned within X-Stream's central site.
