jmac: I don't have the figure handy, it has been well reported but it was back around the time of the merger announcement.
I'll bet if you go back through this or the COMS thread to around the time of the announcement, it will be fairly easy to locate, as well as the complete reported text of the merger details. If you can't find it on this thread, you may want to search Yahoo, Business Wire, etc.
Someone on this thread has probably posted the amount before I've even finished this note to you <>. In my opinion, the $X00 million, whatever it is, will not be what makes or breaks the deal; it just isn't enough money in the long-term. I think the powers that be in both co.'s executive suites think the deal makes strategic sense. And the holders of the huge blocks of shares think those guys know what their doing. JMHO ...Tim |
