Hi Ray-- Oh I thought you were referring directly to the 100 million households in the US. Some 70 million have cable. All have TVs (More than one I believe). I don't know how many have phones? But I believe there are something like 200 million local loops in the US. So I imagine pretty close to 100 million homes have telephones.

Anyhow, since Hollywood has stepped in, these homes will all be the new target for broadband access delivery. So I figure as all players want eyeballs, the prices charged to consumers will drop down to where one price buys all services. I'm talking years out.

To be honest, I can't figure out where it's all heading. I just know broadband access is being put on a higher plane because of the AOL-TWX deal. There are only THREE ways into those 100 million homes, with the 260 million pairs of eyeballs and ears. The only sure winners will be the builders of those pipes.

For the first time I can almost believe Cisco may actually be the first company in history to break the trillion dollar market cap valuation. --MikeM(From Florida)
