Uncle,
Selling stock in companies where great gains have been made and re-buying them sounds like a huge tax Ouch! How do you handle that situation?

For every $1.00 in my portfolio for which taxes have been paid, I am looking at $8.50 that would be subject to Federal and State of California capital gains taxes if I should sell my stock. I want to delay that day (maybe forever) and have that money "work hard" for me, cause I deserve it...humble carl
