Thanks for another URL Dana. It looks like a terrific place to get options quotes if you are into that sort of thing. I don't know enough about options to try that yet.

I have been researching undervalued companies and find that Morningstar is a great place to find just the info I'm looking for.

I read on the other thread that earnings estimates are going lower again for ATML. That is not a very good sign. If they are showing a declining earnings for this year instead of gains, the low PE doesn't mean diddly.

Vikas, whose opinion I really respect, seems to think that lowering expectations will be good for the company. He also says this same thing happened last July. Did the company start last year with declining earnings, or did the drop last July occur with the rest of tech market on the rumor of interest rate hikes? Big difference.

Hopefully the President's meeting in Japan end of this week will get the ball rolling on lowering the dollar against the yen. Don't know what to think about interest rates anymore. The long bond gained some ground yesterday (which the DOW seemed to like). So Bond traders seem optimistic. Some think Fed will raise basis 3-4 more times like you told Steve. Others seem to think that inflation is not an issue. Who really knows. I'll be glad when this year's over. Maybe we should be really be looking forward to a great millineum New Years and forget the market for now.
