What up with this Quantum theory?

HIFN and DSS are in completely different businesses. Why HIFN would get killed on a DSS downgrade is lost on me.

DSS failed to meet estimates because their low end tape drives had lower margins than expected (Translation: They had to price them even lower to get them out the door). HIFN is about as far removed from the tape drive business as Mets fans are from Yankee fans.

Incidentally, DSS did report that their Digital Storage division is going great guns. It better be, I own the tracking stock (HDD), and they make the disk drives for DSS Snap Division!

Anyway, HIFN sold off because the Naz sold off. End of story.
