Universal Media Holdings, Inc. Explains Patents Obtained in Asset Purchase Agreement With World Cyberlinks, Inc.
NEW YORK, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- James Zimbler, Chairman of Universal Media Holdings, Inc.,(OTC Bulletin Board: UVTF - news) today expanded on the previously released news that the Company has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement for certain patents, copyrights and trademarks with World Cyberlinks, Inc.

Mr. Zimbler, in clarifying the nature of the patents that are being obtained from World Cyberlinks, stated that the patents covered the docking system station for transferring data between pen-based computers and host computer systems. The docking stations can accept a number of pen-based computer systems in spaced apart parallel divider panels. The pen-based computers have a display screen, protective case and interface housing for the pen-based computer.

The patents also cover a method of interfacing between data transmissions systems having an unequal number of transceiver ports. The interface mechanism decompresses the data packet and control signal to provide a data information signal and a control information signal when separated.

The Company has indicated that there has been enormous interest in the docking stations that employ the technology that is covered by these patents which should result in expanded bottom line figures and opens trade avenues with Fortune 500 companies.
